Definitions: The Icing on the Cake
- Buttercream: A rich creamy mixture of butter and sugar used both as an icing and a filling
- Rolled Fondant: A popular Icing with a matte porcelain-like finish that is rolled out like dough and draped over cakes.
- Royal Icing: A rock-hard sugar used for trimmings and decorations.
- Ganache: A smooth mixture of melted finely chopped chocolate and heated cream.
Please note:
Outside catering is prohibited. All Food And Beverage {including the wedding cake or grooms cake}
for planned events must be purchased from Amelia Island Plantation.
Wedding Cakes begin at $8.00 Per Person with a $350.00 Minimum.
Cutting and Serving of the cake is included.
Applicable service charge and tax will be added to
all catered food and beverage charges.
