Bill Pennington, Regional Sales Manager, has been in the industry for 12 years, having been at Amelia Island Plantation for nearly four. He has spent time as a senior sales manager for the Jacksonville Convention and Visitors Bureau, and an incentive travel salesperson, with a total of 25 years in sales and marketing. Bill’s strengths include helping his clients understand the many nuances of the resort and the island so they can enjoy this “truly charming destination” for a few days or even for a lifetime. Bill’s personal interests are long distance running events, serving as a contributing writer for the local newspaper, and working with his wife Emilie in her advertising and design business. “I believe in creating the perfect meeting or incentive program by uniting customers' needs with our service, amenities, and the natural splendor of our island paradise,” Bill says.
