Sand Tiger Shark
(Odontaspis taurus)
This is a long slender shark with a gray back and white belly. They can grow to 10 feet long and weigh 300 pounds. Sand Tiger sharks are common on Florida's east coast. These sharks are known to cooperatively herd and consume schools of fish.
