Nurse Shark
(Ginglymostoma cirratum)
Rusty or yellow-brown in color, this is one of the few sharks that can be found lying on the sea bottom. This shark is usually sluggish and feeds on sea urchins, clams and crabs. They can grow to 14 feet in length, but are usually less than 10 feet long.
