Facility Maintenance A/C Mechanic
The position requires performing a wide variety of miscellaneous mechanical tasks in the maintenance and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. Repairs will be made on Walk-In and Reach-In Freezers & Coolers, Ice Machines and a variety of air conditioners.
Some Minimum and Preferred Job Qualification Standards Needed for Hire:
Literacy skills: Be able to read, speak understand and write English proficiently
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Experience: Minimum requirement of 4 years HVAC experience
Licenses required at time of hire: Valid drivers license in good standing, Journeyman HVAC card or equivalent experience EPA certification
Machine/equipment/tool skills preferred: Able to perform readings with pressure gauges. Ability to sweat copper lines, change compressor and perform electrical trouble shooting on ice machines, coolers, A/C’s etc.
