Marketing
Reporting Relationship
The intern reports directly to the Real Estate Marketing Manager.
Hours
Interns will be scheduled and average of 40 - 50 hours per week, including some weekends. Some exceptions will apply.
Overview
The intern will assist in researching, creating, producing, distributing and mailing marketing materials, managing fulfillment procedure to sales leads, maintaining mailing list, and completing other “pop-up” projects.
Required Skills/Certificates Including Physical Requirements
Must have:
• Required Skills/Certificates/Physical Requirements
• Full or partial degree in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, Communications or other related degree
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Previous experience or training in marketing
• Creative, graphic and computer skills
• A valid driver’s license, a vehicle and maintain acceptable driving status (see “Driving Eligibility”)
• Familiarity with Photoshop, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Publisher
• Professional demeanor and character
Must be:
• Fluent in conversational English (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding)
• Organized, highly motivated, flexible and outgoing

Marketing Intern Activities
1. Assist with creating and managing all in-house collateral materials including, but not limited to, re-sale home brochures, real estate sales center, real estate PowerPoint presentations and web pages.
2. Assist with direct mail campaigns as they relate to the market conversion of product, including database management and market tracking.
3. Assist the Real Estate Marketing Manager on new programs.
4. Assist in developing a marketing campaign for real estate including market research and development, media buying, creative design, budget development, special functions and maintenance.
5. Assist our Marketing/Ad agency in the creative development of all real estate collateral materials.
6. Assist with reports to the Executive Vice President and Vice President of Marketing.
7. Actively participate in meetings with supervisor.
8. Attend staff “Home Team” meetings.
9. Attend Customer Service class.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
The intern may be subject to indoor and outdoor environmental changes and conditions. Business may change from season to season causing work levels to vary.
