Housing

Housing is not provided, however, the Internship Coordinator will assist each intern who needs housing with information regarding rentals and potential roommates.

Transportation

Interns are responsible for their own transportation. A car is highly recommended since there is no public transportation on the island. The commute may be about 5 - 10 miles, depending on your housing arrangements.

Driving Eligibility

If driving a company vehicle is a requirement of your internship, you must be deemed an "acceptable driver." A special license is required to drive a large truck or bus. Failure to maintain "acceptable driver" status may result in termination of your internship. The Company's insurance carrier will periodically review your record. The status of a driver will be based on our insurance carrier's requirements, which is subject to change. You are required to advise the company immediately upon a change in status of license, or in the event of any citation for a traffic violation. Please refer to the applications form "Intern Acknowledgement of Acceptable Driver Standards."

Identification

The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 requires us to verify eligibility to work in the United States. Upon arrival, interns are asked to present their Driver¹s license w/photo as well as their original Social Security card or original birth certificate (with embossed seal). Some alternative forms of identification are acceptable. Please inquire in advance. Internship offers are contingent upon the timely completion of these requirements and satisfactory completion of our standard background investigation process.
